Sean O'Malley, the rising star in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) with a reputation for high-level striking, recently shared a video on his YouTube channel in which he dissected his favorite strikes and signature moves. In the video, O'Malley expertly explained how he positions himself to flawlessly execute his strikes during intense fights. The UFC fighter's first signature move is called the Nuzzo Snoozo. O'Malley revealed that he delivered a beautiful right head-kick to David Nuzzo, followed by a spinning-kick, which knocked out his opponent. The second signature move is the Tornado Kick. Luis Palomino, a veteran of the sport and O'Malley's role model, first showed him this kick. The fighter said it took hours of spinning practice to master the technique. In the video, O'Malley also discussed his third signature strike, a combination that begins as a spinning back-fist and ends with a kick. He explained that the spinning back-fist gets his opponents to cover up, making them vulnerable to the kick to the body or head. O'Malley has used this technique with great success, often resulting in a knockout. O'Malley's recent success includes an upset victory over former bantamweight champion Petr Yan at UFC 280 in October 2021. This win put O'Malley in a position to challenge for the bantamweight title in his next fight, expected to take place at UFC 288. The next bantamweight title fight, between reigning champion Aljamain Sterling and former two-division champion Henry Cejudo, will determine O'Malley's next opponent. If he emerges victorious, O'Malley will become the second fighter from Dana White's Contender Series to win a UFC championship. With his unique fighting style and explosive signature moves, O'Malley is undoubtedly a rising star in the UFC's bantamweight division. Fans can't wait to see what the fighter has in store for his next fight and which of his signature moves he'll bring to the octagon.
