Nate Diaz, a well-known influencer and former UFC title challenger, has once again made headlines after being involved in a street fight where he choked a man unconscious. Diaz is now facing charges, prompting one of the sport's legendary fighters, Daniel Cormier, to weigh in on the situation. Cormier is a role model for those trying to pave their paths in the cage. He has won numerous world titles and was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame on June 30, 2022. In a recent YouTube video, Cormier sided with Diaz over the victim, despite the influencer being the only man who sustained damages. The man who was choked unconscious and dumped on his head by Diaz turned out to be Rodney Peterson, a man best known for being a lookalike of the popular Logan Paul. Diaz was originally scheduled to compete in his boxing debut against Jake Paul, but police filed a warrant for his arrest following the altercation with Peterson. It is uncertain whether Diaz will still make the August date for the fight. However, Paul has already started considering potential replacements, with long-term rival KSI being the standout opponent. In response to Paul's plans, KSI tweeted, "Well, if that means Jake won't have an opponent in August, then I'll gladly come as the replacement after I KO Joe Fournier in May." Diaz's fighting career has been marked by controversy, with the influencer being known for his aggressive and unpredictable behavior.
