Nick Kyrgios, the Australian tennis star and Wimbledon runner-up, recently turned 28 on April 27. As Kyrgios is yet to compete in any competitive matches in 2023 due to his knee surgery, he had the pleasure of celebrating his birthday with his girlfriend Costeen Hatzi at home. Costeen Hatzi, a social media influencer and interior designer, pulled out all the stops to make his birthday memorable and incredible. Hatzi decorated their place with 28 balloons on the ceiling, each one with a special note saying "28 reasons why I love you." The sweet gesture garnered immense appreciation and warmth from Kyrgios, who took to Instagram to share his heartfelt response. He wrote, "Nicest thing ever. Haha, they were creative to say the least." Hatzi also penned a heartfelt message on social media, calling Kyrgios her "best friend." She expressed her love and gratitude for Kyrgios and appreciated his presence in her life. She wrote, "Happy 28th birthday to my best friend. I can't Thank you enough for everything you have taught me. You are one in a million, and I'm so lucky I get to spend every day with you. I love you beyond words & love all the memories we have created together. To many more birthdays. Enjoy your special day." Kyrgios and Hatzi started dating in December 2021 and have been together ever since. In 2022, with Hatzi's presence, Kyrgios achieved grand success in the tennis world, winning the doubles Grand Slam title in Melbourne and making the Wimbledon final in singles, among others. Kyrgios gives credit to Hatzi for his new-found success and says that being at peace with his life helps him perform on the court better. The couple, however, shies away from discussing engagement plans as per Hatzi's latest interview. She shares, "If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I'm just going with the flow, being happy and healthy. That's all that matters." On the tennis front, Kyrgios is yet to announce a return date to the court. However, he is confirmed to play an exhibition match against Holger Rune in Denmark on May 24 and participate in the Laver Cup in September, allowing his fans to glimpse his remarkable talent on the court once again.
