At Sunrise, our Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents in the community's dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Full Time includes Weekdays and Weekends

Essential Duties: General Dining Service Duties• Has knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and can provide general description to the residents and guests• Assists residents with menu selections and responds to pertinent questions about menu items• Responsible for taking meal and beverage orders and serving requested items according to established guidelines• Responds to the dining needs of the residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards• Attends pre-meal briefing to gain knowledge of the meal and meal support activities• Follows all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards• Maintains assigned tables and surrounding area in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness• Performs dining room set-up and re-set of tables in accordance with dining room procedures• Supports the dining room decorum and etiquette standards• Performs and completes opening and closing checklist criteria• Performs and completes side work duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED accepted, College a plus• Minimum One (1) year experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living • Ability to handle multiple priorities• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication• Competent in organizational, time management skills• Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously Ability to make appropriate choices, decisions and act in the resident’s best interest Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding Ability to learn new software and technology

Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
