Sr. I.T. System Manager - SAP

Overview

We are growing our locations and are investing more than $2 billion into establishing a new large-scale manufacturing site for biopharmaceuticals in the United States to accelerate the growth of our Bio CDMO (Contract and Development Manufacturing Organization) business. This will be the largest end-to-end cell culture CDMO provider in North America.

The new site will offer end-to-end solutions to our customers looking to manufacture biopharmaceuticals in the US. In addition to drug substance manufacture, it will also provide automated fill-finish and assembly, packaging, and labeling services. The new state-of-the-art facility is located in Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States.

We are looking for a Senior IT System Manager who wants to participate in our journey to establish the largest end-to-end cell culture CDMO facility in North America. More importantly, someone who wants to be a part of the largest growth journey that we in FUJIFILM have ever entered.In the project phase, your main responsibility will be to liaise with Global IT teams to stand up the IT systems needed to operate the facility. The IT systems will be needed at different phases during the project you will be working with different functional groups to ensure that the systems are ready in due time for their purposes. We are looking for a passionate person within the SAP area who could advise and coach on the best industry practices and help us to implement our SAP system. Specifically, you will serve as the lead to implement the EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) module.

You will function as a local extension of the Global IT team reporting into the Senior Director - IT.

Leverage the system detailed design from similar FUJIFILM site in Denmark

Plan, design, implement and test IT systems

Liaise with System Managers from our site in Denmark to ensure consistency in the setup of the systems

Ensure appropriate validation approach and testing is in place to meet IT requirements

Prepare and execute training for the users of the system

Ensure project implementation is well received throughout the organization and

Coordinate with vendors as it relates to the systems

Manage software design decisions and change control in a regulated environment

Manage the system lifecycle process

Incidents management and daily support of the systems once in operation

You should expect the role and responsibilities to develop and evolve as the project group expands

We are looking for a candidate with the following background and skill sets:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent work experience

7+ years’ experience designing, installing, and user acceptance testing SAP systems in the area of EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). EWM experience is required.

Experience with MM (Materials Management) and QM (Quality Management) is an advantage

Excellent oral and written communications skills and fluency in English

Collaborative attitude with the willingness to work with global peers and cross-functional teams toward company and department goals

Life Sciences or GxP manufacturing experience is a nice to have

Ability to prioritize and work autonomously based on common goals and objectives.

You have a strong analytical mind, eye for detail and problem-solving skills. You have a natural drive for simplification.
