We are growing our locations and are investing more than $2 billion into establishing a new large-scale manufacturing site for biopharmaceuticals in the United States to accelerate the growth of our Bio CDMO (Contract and Development Manufacturing Organization) business. This will be the largest end-to-end cell culture CDMO provider in North America.

The new site will offer end-to-end solutions to our customers looking to manufacture biopharmaceuticals in the US. In addition to drug substance manufacture, it will also provide automated fill-finish and assembly, packaging, and labeling services. The new state-of-the-art facility is located in Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States.

As our Financial Analyst you will be responsible for enabling our site to deliver on financial and strategic objectives through forecast, analysis and reporting that will guide business decisions. You will play an important role in managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies to achieve business performance in a cross-functional team environment. You will support the business and drive the finance initiatives and decisions. You should be a high performer who has a contagious level of positive energy with a high sense of ownership and a strong ability to communicate and build a rapport with non-financial minded peers.

Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of the financial planning process as well as partnering with various business units to develop financial plans that align with the business goals

Create and maintain strong financial models and analytical tools for recommending and influencing financial strategies and business decisions

Cultivate strong relationships with business partners within the organization, build rapport and a collaborative working relationship

Provide thorough financial analysis and challenge business financial outcomes to ensure that business leaders are meeting their financial targets and commitments

Partner with business units to manage and maintain their Strategic Workforce Plans (SWP) that align with the business goals

Monitor key performance indicators of financial targets, actuals versus budget/forecast

Prepare financial reports and analysis ensuring a high degree of quality, accuracy, and timeliness

Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the business operations and financial systems

Assist with developing and maintaining capital expenditure models for budgeting, tracking, reporting and capitalization

Apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and Company policies to solve moderate to complex problems

Conduct and support ad hoc finance and accounting requests and assignments, as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field

4+ years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role

Strong understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Strong quantitative and analytical skills required with ability to track, measure and identify improvement solutions

Positive ‘can-do’ attitude willing to get the job done and done well

Self-motivated with strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good financial judgement

Preferred Skills

Strong influencing, collaboration, oral and written communications skills

Highly organized with strong project management skills

Ability to be flexible and adaptable, moving and managing projects with different objectives, milestones, and deliverables

Demonstrated ability to deliver results with a strong sense of urgency
