Summary:
The Manager, Inside Sales is responsible for meeting annual regional sales quotas and overseeing inside resources within their assigned region. They will directly manage and coach Inside Sales Representatives to drive sales from both new and existing customers. Collaboration with the Clinical Applications Manager is essential to ensure field coverage of Inside Sales owned accounts when required. Key responsibilities include exceeding revenue goals, developing the skills and knowledge of the sales team, monitoring progress and forecasting, coordinating with Clinical Application Specialists for customer demos, maintaining effective communication with the Inside Sales and partner Field Sales channels, recruiting high-quality sales representatives, managing weekly/monthly/quarterly KPIs, reporting concerns to the Senior Manager, Inside Sales, the Director of Sales and the VP of Sales. This individual will further be responsible for cultivating relationships with key accounts and supporting lead generation efforts in the defined region by working with Business Development Representatives.
Essential Job Functions:
Drive and surpass established revenue goals in the assigned region.
Provide coaching and support to Inside Sales Representatives, enabling them to achieve their individual sales quotas through continuous development of business skills, sales techniques, product knowledge, and market expansion.
Regularly assess the progress of each Inside Sales Representative towards their annual goal by evaluating the sales opportunity pipeline, conducting monthly/quarterly forecasting, and reviewing closed deals.
Collaborate with the Clinical Applications Manager to ensure that Clinical Application Specialists conduct field demos for Inside Sales owned customers as needed.
Oversee and optimize communication and effectiveness within the Inside Sales Team when collaborating with the Clinical Application Specialist team and partner sales channels.
Recruit and onboard exceptional Inside Sales Representatives with the necessary experience and skills to meet annual sales targets and establish strong customer relationships in the assigned territory.
Develop and execute plans to manage weekly/monthly/quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including sales call activity, in alignment with defined expectations.
Promptly report any concerns regarding products, the marketplace, or staff-related matters to the Senior Manager of Inside Sales.
Establish and nurture relationships with key hospitals and other accounts within the assigned region to foster long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with Business Development Representatives in the region to facilitate effective and transparent lead generation throughout the defined territory.
Attendance at and sales support for national and/or regional trade shows in which Fujifilm Sonosite and/or distribution partners participate
Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system
Miscellaneous projects as determined
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or a combination of relevant work experience and education.
Minimum 5-7 years of proven sales experience, specifically in medical sales.
Management and/or management development program required
Ability to:
Successfully complete client training and meet training expectations
Work a schedule that accommodates potentially different time zones
Travel to work related meetings and functions as needed (including overnight and/or weekend)
Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM experience, iPad, apps, etc.)
Must have a dedicated home office environment that is free from noise and distractions.
Access to high-speed internet services from the home office, with sufficient bandwidth for streaming video demonstrations.
Willingness to participate in online meetings on-camera, utilizing a green screen background.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word).
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM Software.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and ideas.
Demonstrated strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and inspire a team, and exceptional coaching skills to develop the potential of Inside Sales Representatives.
Proven capability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Extensive proficiency in Salesforce.com, utilizing the platform's features and functionalities to drive sales and optimize team performance.
A customer-centric approach with a focus on building and nurturing long-term relationships.
Strong ethics and integrity, adhering to company policies and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodations.
Salary and Benefits:
$80,000 base salary + variable bonus opportunity
