
(ISSM) Information Systems Security Manager

SPA’s ORCA (Operations Research & Cyber Analysis) division in CA is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM). This position will develop information system solutions following Risk Management Framework (RMF) with implementations following JSIG, DAAPM, and CMMC. The ISSM will be responsible for attaining and maintaining system assessments and authorizations through government authorizing agencies from requirements through operational deployment. ISSM will implement requirements to establish classified communication links including internet, phone, video teleconferencing and other vital communications channels. The successful candidate will coordinate requirements with DoD agencies to ensure mission accomplishment and the protection of sensitive information.
Responsibilities
Maintain compliance of accredited information systems based on federal and DoD security standards
Create and Maintain the System Security Plans (SSP) and associated documentation
Create a book of business for Cybersecurity Team
Lead DoD Cybersecurity On-Site Inspections
Create and Maintain documentation (policies, procedures, and artifacts) following RMF
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Experience with management of Microsoft Windows servers and desktop operating systems required.
Minimum of 4 years of ISSO, ISSM, or Cybersecurity policy experience
Experience performing continuous monitoring and cybersecurity hygiene of windows domains and network enclaves.
Experience as an IAM-II (per DoD Manual 8570)
Experience designing, building, and maintaining information system enclaves
Active TOP SECRET clearance or higher (requires SSBI)
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, or a related discipline
Experience with VMWare, NetApp, Linux based operating systems a plus
Extensive Knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls/Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment and authorization (A&A) Processes
One or more of the following Certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO
Effective verbal and written communications skills
Knowledge of NISPOM and NISPOM Chapter 8
DFARS and FISMA experience
Network Administration (CISCO)
System security hardening following STIGs
