The Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures per physicians' orders and produces images according to Radiology Department policies and procedures. Overview of Responsibilities

Accurately evaluates requests for ultrasound procedures.

Obtains patient history and symptoms.

Performs ultrasound procedures per physicians' orders in accordance with Radiology Department policies and procedures

Provides explanation and instruction to patients regarding ultrasound procedures.

Education/Experience

Certifications: Current registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Abdomen and OB/GYN. ARDMS Registration is to be obtained within one year of hire date.CPR certified.

Schedule DetailsDay Shift. 36 hours per week. 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Sunday-Monday-Tuesday. Hours and days may vary. Includes weekends, holidays, call.
