Gain deep understanding of the company's products, services, channels, and brand position to develop clear, concise, compelling, and actionable copy.Develop creative concepts, write, and edit engaging copy for campaign assets, including a diverse range of marketing collateral, landing pages, social media, tradeshows materials, event campaigns, infographics, and emails.Review and revise content for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.Collaborate with key stakeholders to consistently create and develop innovative copy and concepts for product launches, sales materials, and marketing initiatives.Maintain a consistent style and voice across all pieces created and easily incorporate all revisions and suggestions from internal department reviewers, business owners, and legal and compliance reviewers in a successful manner.Act as brand steward for NationsBenefits and support the company's brand position, while maintaining a consistent style and voice over all pieces created.Translate client objectives and creative briefs into compelling concepts, headlines, and copy.Brainstorm fresh ideas as key member of creative team.Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand project needs and translate this into copy, concepts, and content.Draft and refine creative briefs to help internal clients clearly articulate their goals.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Clear understanding of Marketing and the ability to work in tandem with the Creative Services team to deliver a world-class product consistently every timeDemonstrated excellence in writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail in copy, decks, and designsThrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentExperience writing compelling copy on a wide range of deliverables—from member facing marketing materials to product tutorials, sales materials, web pages, RFPs, and presentations.Experience writing for B2C and B2BKnowledge of Associated Press styleThe versatility to switch-hit between channels and ensure that there is continuity from an omni-channel approachExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, thorough attention to detail, strong prioritization, project management skills, and the ability to set and meet tight deadlines Must have excellent customer service skills, including a team-oriented approach to management of customers’ needsStrong decision-making skills, with an aptitude for making quick, informed decisionsConsistently meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure when managing multiple competing prioritiesTake direction and interact productively during brainstorming sessions

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing communications, creative writing, or equivalent experience5+ years in copy writing and/or editing, preferably in healthcare; experience in publishing and/or editing preferredExperience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
