Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst works directly with Senior Management on short and long-term forecasting of the Company, including long-term strategic planning, capital budgeting, analyzing capital structures, benchmarking, assessing acquisitions/dispositions, and reporting on market/macroeconomic trends. Additionally, this individual assists Senior Management with articulating the Company's performance, goals, and objectives to various internal and external audiences, including the Board of Directors.

Develop and maintain the short- and long-term financial model for the Company, including collaborating with department/segment leaders and compiling their respective forecasts into an enterprise Company model.

Work directly with Senior Management to articulate the Company's performance, goals, and objectives to internal/external audiences, including potential investors and creditors.

Assist with the analysis of potential investment decisions.

Develop financial models to analyze the impact of various redevelopment, operational, or financing-related strategies and draw conclusions, make recommendations, and effectively communicate those recommendations to Senior Management.

Build/develop and maintain various models supporting various key performance indicators and data points.

Partner with senior management on various projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.

May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Master's in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.

Two (2) to four (4) years of related experience.

Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and real estate (seniors housing experience a plus)

Experience building financial/data models

Computer skills including the advanced/expert use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and the full Microsoft Office Suite

May be required to travel up to 10% of the time on behalf of the Company.

Travel time is subject to change based on business needs.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Position requires driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle).

Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Company motor vehicle policy standards and Travel Policy.

Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
