Senior Writer and Account Manager

What We Need

This a great opportunity for a Senior Writer to join one of the largest communications and integrated marketing agencies in the world with 23 offices globally and more than 1,300 people who love executing communications to deliver positive action.

As a Senior Writer, you will help us drive a high standard of written content across our client portfolio, providing you with great exposure to a number of a number of key technology clients. You will also have a solid understanding of how best to optimise both traditional and digital content.

Key strengths within this role should include excellent written and visual content creation, solid research skills, resourcefulness, outstanding attention-to-detail, time management skills and organization. This role also carries the expectation of outstanding client relationship management skills. The Role

Produces a broad range of content of varying complexity, including feature articles, op-ed and thought-leading content, news releases, speeches, briefing documents, speaker notes, short scripts and social content.

Produces compelling documents, often about highly technical subjects, targeting a variety of audiences.

Writes polished, well-organized and grammatically correct documents that require minimal editing.

Research stories providing fresh angles; proactively find ways to better deliver the content.

Provides strategic consultancy to the client, including involvement in planning and executing multi-faceted campaigns.

What you've been able to accomplish

The Person

5-7 years of Journalism, next-generation digital and visual storytelling, content strategy, business development, creative direction, social media and marketing.

Considerable experience in written communication – in an agency &/or within applicable industry.

A solid understanding of the technology industry and drive to stay fresh on outlooks and trends in tech’s intersection with healthcare, social-good and consumer companies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel) and familiarity with WordPress, Type Pad or Live Writer, and/or other CMSs.

To succeed in this role, you will possess key attributes around Leadership to mentor and guide junior members. Operational competencies such as strong writing ability, time management, attention to details.
