Responsibilities

Assist Electricians and Electrical Foreman with installing and maintaining electrical and power systems

Install lighting, electrical outlets and circuit breakers

Run a variety of styles and sizes of conduit to electrical devices

Pull wire to connection boxes, switch panels and other terminals

Load and unload tools, supplies, equipment, etc.

Drive ground rods and trench for grounding grids

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment pertinent to the electrical trade

Assist with paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing and inventory

Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles in a professional and workman-like manner

Assist in other areas of the company and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma and 1+ years of electrical experience

Possess basic knowledge of electrical theory and AC and DC circuits

Knowledge and ability to identify and utilize hand and power tools typically utilized in the electrical trade

Must be dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude

Must be able to work well with co-workers and customers

Willing and able to work a flexible schedule that include travel, out-of-town work, weekends, extended hours and call-out work

Valid driver's license required

Working Conditions

Walk / use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders and stairs / crawl / kneel

Sit/stand for extended periods of time

Lift and/or move up to 80 pounds

Wear safety equipment: as per OSHA/MSHA requirements including but not limited steel toed and/or metatarsal shoes, hard hat, lanyard, fire retardant, protective eye wear,
