Pillar Innovations is now accepting applications for an Electrical Technician.
Responsibilities
Installation of wiring and raceways both AC and DC ranging from 12v to 600v
Ability to work on multiple systems that include communication, HVAC, power distribution panels, transformers, and generator power distribution
Strong troubleshooting skills in both AC and DC circuitry
Ability to read and understand wiring schematics for troubleshooting purposes
Availability to be on call on weekends, nights, emergencies
Good customer-based communication skills
Ability to deploy in field problem solving skills to fix any issue that arises
Confident to work around the many types of industrial work sites to include oil and gas, mining, water & wastewater, power generation and more.
Ability to hookup, replace, change electric motors of all sizes
Ability to install and setup VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)
Ability to install and calibrate instrumentation devices
Knowledge of sizing circuits for installation of electrical systems
Field Troubleshooting
Must be willing to trave out of town with overnight stays

Qualifications
Valid driver’s license required
2+ years of industrial electrical experience
MSHA Electrical Certificate is desired, and Electrical Journeyman License is a plus
Experience with low, medium, and high voltage systems and components
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, circuitry, and schematics
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and propose solutions for electrical issues for low - high voltage systems
Must be dependable, trustworthy, and possess a positive and productive attitude
Must be willing to train apprentices and less experienced electrical staff
Verbal and written communication skills
Able to travel and work a flexible schedule
Willingness to undergo a background and drug screening is required
Working Conditions
Walk / use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders and stairs / crawl / kneel
Sit/stand for extended periods of time
Lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
Wear safety equipment: as per OSHA/MSHA requirements including but not limited steel toed and/or metatarsal shoes, hard hat, lanyard, fire retardant, protective eye wear,

This position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. In accordance with The Company’s Drug and Alcohol policy, employees are required to participate in random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing as requested.
