Job Description

A person with FMCG company experience :, Provides strategic direction to ASMs for growing business in the zone, Recruit, retain and develop ASMs for respective Sales Area, Set annual targets for ASMs and their team basis trends, seasonality and ensure implementation on time, Appraise performance of each ASM, identify strengths and improvement areas, Ensure timely rewards and recognition for the team, Build capability of ASM and their team via training and coaching sessions, Responsible for distribution in General Trade for Zone, Townwise coverage planning, outlets, stockists, potential etc, Identify coverage gaps and build plans to develop the same, Maintain relationships with Key customers (Stockists and retailers), Monitor distribution, new outlet opening, and repeat business from stores, Ensure financial health of customers (stockists, retailers), Ensure the ASM team drives retail expansion profitably, Develop systems to ensure expiries and claims are cleared as per norm, Ensure Trade Marketing initiatives are driven well with the line management team, Build competitor tracking mechanisms, Drive activities to gain market share in alignment with the Trade marketing team
