Job Description :The Senior consultant in the Benchmarking practice is a client,facing role at the heart of Hackett's value proposition to its clients. Our clients are major players (e.g. Dow Jones, Nasdaq, S&P 500, FTSE 100, DAX 30, Fortune 500) from a wide range of industries. The role is highly varied, and requires agile, responsive, organized, and motivated individuals to support clients through complex performance improvement projects.The Associate consultant , consultant in the benchmarking practice will begin by supporting, then rapidly progress to leading, the day,to,day project management, planning, performing, and reporting activities of Hackett's benchmarking projects.Responsibilities :, Participating in project planning activities with client teams, Delivering training to client resources on Hacketts benchmarking methodology, Facilitating and support the client as they collect performance data, Validating data and seeking sign,off from the client on its accuracy, Support senior colleagues in the creation and development of client project deliverables, Interacting with senior client executives, Thorough understanding and functional knowledge of the procurement or Supply chain functions and purchase to pay processes, Strong Understanding of Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Supply Base Management, Function Management, Compliance, and Purchasing Operations activities within the Procurement function, Very strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and activities across multiple, simultaneous projects, High degree of professionalism and ability to interact and engage clients, ranging from administrative resources through to C,Level executives, using empathy, content knowledge and personality to build long,term relationships, Very strong analytical skills, especially relating to the ability to collate large amounts of data and then identify and concisely communicate insights gained from this information, Identifying and resolving issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success, Developing and presenting conclusions and recommendations to senior client managers, The ability to work independently without close supervision as well as in small teams of professionals across all of Hackett's line of business, Trustworthiness and personal integrity when accessing confidential Hackett and client data and information which is commercially sensitive, Numerical literacy, strong MS Office skills and an eye for detail, Experience in customer relationship management using highly professional verbal and oral communication skillsEssential Skills :, Must be proficient in handling Issues,support functions, Should be organized and focused on delivering research tasks within defined deadlines, Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skills, Experience in customer relationship management using highly professional verbal and oral communication skillsPersonal :, Should understand business objectives and organization structure, The candidate must have strong work ethics and trustworthiness, The candidate should work accurately with attention to detail by maintaining confidentiality and integrity, Must be highly collaborative and team oriented with commitment to excellence, Ability to work under pressure to achieve the multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables, with a mature approachPreferred Skills :, The candidate should have a good problem,solving approach, Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced), Self,motivated, fast learner with the ability to operate independentlyPersonal :, Demonstrate proactive thinking, Negotiation and persuasion skills are required to work with partners and implement changes, Have the ability to work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditionsOther Relevant Information :, 5 to 8 years consulting experience in procurement or supply chain, Must be an MBA from a leading Business school
