The Technical Manager of Food Science and Packaging applies knowledge and technical skills needed to ensure safe, wholesome finished meals are properly produced and packaged to optimize shelf-life. This role is responsible for evaluating and monitoring prepared refrigerated ready to eat meals, utilizing scientific data and food chemistry and microbiological attributes, as well as expert knowledge of modified atmosphere packaging techniques to meet food safety and regulatory requirements. The Technical Manager Food Science and Packaging is responsible to lead, develop, and execute solutions to drive performance improvements through strong business collaboration, strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Technical Services, Food Safety and Quality.
