About the Role

Building culture doesn't happen by chance. It happens with intention. You'll need to have a flair for inspiring others and creating a high trust environment to help us attract and retain top talent. As a culture champion, you will be a role model by living our core values through our Guiding Principles. You will take the lead in creating a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, engagement and provides guidance to team members and managers. Did I mention we have an awesome BI dashboard to use for measuring key metrics? This is a boots on the ground role with administrative tasks, like handling workers' compensation claims, reviewing evaluations and submitting increases, and running various reports, but your primary responsibility will be to guide and support leadership and support team members. This role will oversee two entities and have a part-time coordinator for support and be reporting to the Corporate Talent & Culture Director. To be successful in this role

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum 4 years of professional work experience, with a minimum 2 years of experience in the Human Resources operational leadership function

  • Experience in being a change agent and culture builder

  • The ability to inspire, influence and lead team members and 

  • The ability to provide outstanding coaching services 

  • Effective communication skills and a great attention to detail

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in computer skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of various HR functional areas, such as recruiting, training, employee relations, compensation, performance management

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all T&C information

  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image.

To stand out from the others, you will have:

      • Bachelor's Degree preferred

      • PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus

      • Previous experience in a healthcare environment

      • Skills to influence, motivate and engagement others

      • Gravitas and grit

      • Customer service skills that are out of this world
