We at Shiprocket are enabling thousands of D2C brands and SMB sellers by building best in class post checkout experience for their customers. We are expanding our product offering to become the core engine powering the D2C ecosystem. We are looking for a single,threaded leader to lead a couple of our new product and tech innovations as an independent business vertical This is a very exciting opportunity and to join a new business vertical which holds strategic importance in Shiprocket roadmap and is expected to grow rapidly., The role is entrepreneurial and offers an opportunity to scale a business vertical from zero to hundred independently. , The role has significant overlap with the product roadmap and overall strategy. , The role works very closely with the sales and key account management teams in planning and executing the GTM strategy, The role reports directly to the COO. It is a high visibility role and entails working with senior leadership Key Responsibilities:The candidate will be responsible for the PnL of the new business vertical. He,she will need to make a lot of high leverage decisions around Pricing, GTM model for the business, and hence is a key strategic role in the organization. It would include:1) Articulating the vision and product roadmap for the vertical. This will entail generating insights from sellers,industry and then translating those into solutions which ship rocket can offer2) Socializing the vision with key stakeholders and aligning the product, business and ops teams to a common view3) Define the pricing strategy for the product, building in competition benchmarks and industry insights , In some cases the candidate will need to make choices in the absence of a market reference.4) Building the GTM plan for the product, and continuously iterating the same basis market feedback5) Working closely with the key account management and sales team and completely own the on,ground execution of the GTM plan6) Own adoption numbers, Revenue generated and overall profitability for the vertical.The candidate will play the role of a thinker and an implementer in equal measure , the success in this role is as much about implementing as it is about conceptualizing or strategizing.
