The Opportunity

This is an amazing Service Manager role with a dynamic truck dealership in the GTA. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for running a customer-focused, efficient, and profitable service department. Your ability to develop and maintain long-lasting customer relationships is second to none as you will build new relationships and expand existing relationships with lease clients to maximize department production and build on an existing loyal client base. The role will also be responsible to control department costs and build appropriate systems and processes to maintain a high level of efficiency, profitability & safety.

To succeed, you will need to have a strong belief in promoting positive and engaging culture for your highly skilled Service team. You will be fully committed to getting the customers back on the road and keeping them there. Key Responsibilities

- Maintain profitability of the service department

-Lead, manage and support the team to hold them accountable for achieving departmental and individual goals

-Create and monitor the scheduling of Technicians in the shop to maximize efficiency

-Maintain effective communication within the Service Department and with other leaders

in the dealership, working together to identify opportunities and resolve issues

-Ability to be front-line and customer-facing, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure the employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referral

-Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and the performance management of employees while taking an active role in developing talent for the future


-10+ years of relevant experience

-5+ years of experience in a leadership role for an OEM Truck Dealership

-310T or Red Seal Equivalent

-CDK Knowledge is an asset

-Strong automotive/truck mechanical knowledge

-Outstanding communication skills with excellent customer service & time management

-G license with a clean driver's record
