The successful Senior Solutions Consultant exhibits a breadth and depth of product and functional mastery as well as being highly energetic, proactive, competitively driven, entrepreneurial, and achievement-oriented. Solutions Consultants leverage their knowledge of business functions, technology, sales savviness, value-based outcomes, and collaborative demeanor to team with sales executives to sell and deliver Reltio’s Cloud-native Connected Customer 360 platform.
The Senior Solutions Consultant’s primary duty, as a member of the sales team, is to own and secure the technical and functional win for new and existing customers. You’ll leverage your product knowledge, industry insights, consultative selling skills, communication, and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders, decision-makers, and executive sponsors.
Further, you’ll conduct in-depth discovery with customers and prospects to understand their business priorities, before and after scenarios, functional requirements, pain points, desired outcomes, and business values. Also…
You’ll gather all relevant data and information and map out solutions that demonstrate Reltio’s ability to meet or exceed requirements;
Design innovative solutions and present customized demonstrations to the stakeholders;
Present Reltio’s platform while demonstrating deep familiarity with the customer’s technical and business environment;
You’ll participate in the development of and delivery of a compelling value proposition and be a co-maker with the AE to strategize the opportunity;
Respond to RFIs and RFPs in a comprehensive and timely manner;
Collaborate with key third-party partners (SI’s and Cloud Hyperscalers) and influencers; and
Participate in training and certifications to enhance technical proficiency and domain mastery.
The Senior Solutions Consultant is more than just a product expert: they are true Master Data Management strategists that help shape a customer’s MDM journey.
Required for this position
5-8+ years of enterprise software or technology pre-sales and product management experience.
Experience selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), or other cloud-based platforms.
Experience selling MDM, CDP, PIM, data quality, data integration, data governance or data management technologies, as well as, enterprise-scale business applications, including ERP, CRM, or BI/Analytics.
Track record of consistent over-achievement of performance metrics in past positions.
Experience with sales cycles running the gamut from business champion, architect, data leader, data scientist to CxO level.
Cultivate and leverage mutually beneficial relationships with strategic alliance partners.
Demonstrated proficiency in key aspects of the sales cycle – discovery, formal presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concept demonstrations, architectural blue print, RFI/RFP responses, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong business acumen and story teller.
Willingness to travel as needed (estimated to be 50%).
Bachelor’s degree as a minimum.
The ability to inspire customers and be curious by nature to discover key business problems and solve these through Reltio’s data solutions and articulate clear outcomes and values.
Desired for this position
Previous Sales Methodology training (R.A.D.A.R./Complex-Selling, TAS, “Solution Selling,” SPIN, Command Of The Message, et al), and strong customer references preferred.
Successfully organized, conducted and/or participated in field marketing campaigns and events.
Demonstrated leadership ability and success in mentoring new pre-sales and sales peers. Experience in a start-up environment and building business in the region from “scratch”
Experience with solutions like Snowflake, SnapLogic, MuleSoft, Talend, Informatica, Tibco or others.
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud
Experience or certifications with Cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with Workflow/BPMN solutions (Activiti experience is a plus)
Experience with Apache Spark, NoSQL, or Graph database technologies
