Senior Manager Manager Unified Communication

We are hiring for Position of UC Design and Delivery Lead Chennai

This includes overseeing and managing vendor resources, functional specifications, low level and high level designs and also implementation for the project.

Key tasks include design, documentation, and functional design and use case design, engineering and core implementation skills across a product range or multiple products that are in the UC domain.

Reporting to UC Delivery Head


Academic & Professional

Field of Study Degree in Computing, IT, Engineering

Certification Project Program Management Professional (or equivalent)

Skills & Attributes

Must have (maximum of 5 bullet points)

Experience delivering large programs within the UC (e.g. contact center, enterprise telephony) domain.

Proven track record in driving execution

Ability to manage people across multiple geographies

Cross border multi geography project delivery experience

Nice to have

Banking domain knowledge (e.g. contact center, enterprise telephony)

Experience in managing and delivering large programs

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver projects

Manage intake and solution to the business requirements

Manage and engage with vendors

Programming and physical deployment and implementation of the systems detailed in the design

Ensure all programs are delivered in accordance to functional and technical specifications

Manage people across geographies

Identify continuous improvement actions

Coordinate and facilitate discussion with various parties, where required e.g. issue resolution, estimation discussions, project approach (deployment approach, data migration approach etc.)

Proactively engage business, walk the ground, understand their needs and provide options provide UC outlook to business community

Management of a virtual project team working group allocating tasks, monitoring progress, ongoing control co ordinate the work of the project working group.

Risk & Issue management identify and manage all programme project issues and risks.

Stakeholder management and cross functional issue resolution regionally and globally.

Establish governance structure and chair lead key project steering meetings

Accurate and relevant status reporting across the overall programme.

Conflict resolution in a high pressure environment

Ensure compliance with PMO, Programme & Project standards

Ensure delivery against targets and continued professional and personal development.

Prepare and consolidate content for presentations to senior management and steering committees

Ability to interpret business requirements into a tangible plan and spot inconsistencies.
