USAID released a new Agency-wide Climate Strategy in April 2022. The Strategy calls for cross-sectoral, collective action to achieve the Agency’s climate goals and includes a Roadmap to Implementation that encourages pillar bureaus, including the Center for Education, to develop technical guidance to support sectoral integration of climate action.
In accordance with the directives of the Climate Strategy, USAID’s Center for Education is developing education and climate technical guidance to support USAID education sector programs and Officers to integrate climate action into education activities. The Center for Education seeks a Short-term Technical Advisor (STTA) to review evidence, consult with key stakeholders, and develop and present a technical guidance document to support the education sector’s integration of climate action into education programming.
Period of Performance: September 2022 - February 2023
