JOB SUMMARY The Senior Associate will conduct vulnerability and penetration testing activities and create the appropriate reports outlining vulnerabilities. The Associate will need to be familiar with common vulnerabilities and must be proficient in performing manual exploitation of vulnerabilities without the aid of automated tools. The Associate must have excellent writing skills, including good spelling and grammar skills, as well as a command over the Microsoft Office suite for report preparation. The Associate must have a good understanding of IT and IT Security related technologies including authentication, authorization, logging, event and incident management, and should also have good project management and time management skills.RESPONSIBILITIES Must be familiar with top industry vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools. (IBM AppScan, Burp Suite and Acunetix) Must have a strong command over HTTP requestresponse construction and the manipulation of these to achieve the desired results in exploiting various vulnerabilities. Should be familiar with Metasploit and Python. Work with fellow security staff to help coordinate responses to security incidents. Should be familiar with Windows environments and management domains, Firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion Detection Systems, and enterprise level information technology. Strong oral communications and writing skills are a must. Must be a self starter with strong organizational skills to enable navigation of the company to identify sponsors, stakeholders and interested parties. Should have a strong command over Linux, both workstations and servers. Must have a strong command over web application penetration testing or network infrastructure testing.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree within a science or related discipline.
