We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our company’s headquarters in Bridgeton, Missouri. This role will administer the testing of Hunter Engineering Company software, hardware and other equipment on vehicles that apply to the equipment sold.


  • General product testing and reporting, including detail-oriented observation of service equipment operation as it relates to assigned area

  • Provide testing feedback and written technical reports to Engineering and Product Management

  • Analyze field reported problems and provide recommended final solutions

  • Provide product development recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical automotive service equipment

  • Assist in quality objectives to achieve continuous improvement and focus on culture expectations

  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to report and solve problems


  • Bachelor’s degree in the automotive field preferred; an Associate degree in the automotive field required

  • 1-2 years minimum automotive experience required

  • In-depth understanding of automotive service equipment as it relates to equipment manufactured by Hunter Engineering Company and working knowledge of undercar service repair

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions based on test results

  • Must have a working knowledge of undercar service issues, Microsoft tools and computer operating system

  • Great verbal and written communication skills along with Microsoft tools and Microsoft operating system experience

  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools
