Our operators within the paint area are critical to success within our pack to help minimise downtime and boost business output through the paint department

What you’ll do:

  • Working within a team in painting and powder coating, you’ll do preparation and minimise set up / change over between painting operations
  • You’ll be a critical member to help minimize downtime and boost business output through a fast-paced business
  • You will support WIP movement between operations to ensure the paint shop works on a pull system whilst releasing complete product to dispatch
  • Working from Standard Operation Procedures you’ll be moving heavy equipment and product using tools relevant to the task in hand
  • You’ll follow assembly drawings and basic technical drawings used with a range of processes

We’d love you to have:

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Worked within a paint preparation and operation, although its not essential
  • Understand customer drawings for masking purposes
  • Basic computer literacy to a standard that allows use of business tools such as the Quality system with minimum training

You'll work 2 weeks of Day Shift and 2 weeks of Nights
