Portfolio Lead , Field Crops (Seeds Category) AgritechExp : 10 , 15 Years We are currently retained by a leading well,funded Agri startup to hire a Portfolio Sales Head (Field Crops) Seeds.This role will offer you to the opportunity to create and manage the overall FC product portfolio including P&L Management, People Management, Overseeing Sales and Marketing, Inventory Management, and Building alliances for the (field crop) Seed Business.The role will include :1. Lead the Category Management function, establishment of excellence in Category Management and create a strategic plan to ensure revenue achievement of the field crops category.2. Build, manage and grow vendor relationships and the organisation brand. 3. P&L management and increasing Product portfolio. 4. Ensure that strategies are in place, approved, documented, and communicated for the portfolio.5. Manage budgeting, forecasting and proper capital management for the category.To fit in the bill, you must have:1. Bachelors or Masters in Agri followed by MBA (Agri Business Preferred)2. 8,15 years of experience.3. Experience in managing P&L for Products and categories.4. Experience in planning and positioning of variety of different brands in agricultural industry5. Exposure to market study, analysis, and segmentationPlease note Field Crops product management and portfolio management is a MUST HAVE.
