Pearson India is growing as a Test Prep leader in the Indian Education,Learning industry today with an aspiration to reach , 30 Million in the next 5 years. Looking for a dynamic leader with 15+ years of track record in the Test Prep publishing industry with exposure to both print & digital product development to lead our Test Prep portfolio.Job Location : Noida , Bangalore JOB SUMMARY :Looking for candidates from Publishing or Education or EdTech Companies only.Portfolio Development :, Manage the Test Prep portfolio, including strategy development, planning, production, editorial to maintain an excellent standard of the product, Strategy development includes competitor study in terms of pricing & GTMs, conducting surveys to understand the future requirements etc., Set and manage Test Prep product development budget, Monitor and develop the production and delivery methods and make improvements,rationalizations where appropriate, Line manage the Test Prep Team, Ensure timely release of all Test Prep products, Support the Sales & GTM by working with Sales & Marketing teams. Sales support includes developing products that are based on market demands, conducting presentations & demos to clients, providing inputs to the Sales team on competitor strategies etc. Objective is to work closely to help the Sales team to achieve the Portfolio targets., Keep an eye on market developments & create products that are futuristic & give an edge over competition., Manage digital platforms for continuous functionality improvement. Keep track of backend analytics to improve the product & also to present statistics to the Management that helps decision makingStrategy :, Develop strategies along with Sales team for the commercial success of the Portfolio to meet the , 30 Million benchmark in 5 years, Execute the role of the Senior Editor, working with the rest of the editorial team and with authors and freelancers to plan editorial strategy, commission high,quality content, Provide support and strategic advice to the management team, including presenting reports, Work collaboratively with all departments to develop appropriate strategies to meet Pearson India's strategic aimsGeneral :, Undertake such duties appropriate to the grade, as required by Pearson India, Monitor in,house processes and resources and make improvements and,or rationalizations where appropriate, Act as point,of,contact within the Pearson India for any Test Prep enquiries and Product planning, Team management. Should have the capability to work closely with the team members & extract the best contribution from them for the improvement of the Portfolio.Specifications:Qualification & Experience :, Commercial acumen and demonstrated results in building monetization Test Prep products for the Indian Higher Education market., The candidate should have demonstrated experience in harnessing external partnerships and,or co,creating relevant GTM models with the internal sales teams, to build a strong and sustainable revenue pipeline for the Test Prep business, In depth knowledge of the Test Prep industry in India across various vertical including UPSC, UGC, IIT JEE, NEET, Banking, State Government Exams etc., Experience in working in Test Prep publishing, Experience in managing complex print & digital products across many internal departments & with external suppliers, Experience of setting up budgets & monitoring the same, Experience in strategic planning & executionSkills & Abilities :, Excellent written and oral communication skills, Able to negotiate and handle contracts, Ability to assess market opportunity, conceive and produce appropriate products, Ability to initiate and lead strategic business planning, Ability to present ideas,arguments in an objective manner, Good understanding of digital media & experience in digital content development, Excellent attention to detail, Able to prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlines, Contacts with good authors in the industryPersonal Qualities :, Good interpersonal skills, Able to build relationships at a senior level internally & externally, Able to build external relationships with authors & suppliers, Team player, Reliable, highly motivated self,starter, Able to work accurately under pressure, Confidence managing others, Flexible
