Job Description

About Eridan

Eridan is a rapidly-growing startup with offices in California and Zagreb, building 5G radios to enable abundant wireless connectivity everywhere in the world. Our MIRACLE™ transceiver uses a polar modulator at its output, features a decade of software-controlled tunability with high wall-plug efficiency independent of output power, and unprecedented linearity; there is nothing like it in the entire
world. We aspire to put an Eridan transceiver in every wireless device in the world.

About this position:

Eridan is seeking to hire an organized, motivated and efficient professional to support the happiness and productivity of our rapidly
growing team. As our Zagreb’s office has engineers only at this time, this is the first human-resources/office operations position. In this position, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations to help create and maintain a positive work environment and will source and
onboard new employees as we grow. This includes recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new hires with the support of our California office’s
HR team and then office operations including basic accounting functions, organizing activities and helping with company
administration. This role will provide lots of opportunities to take on new projects, increase your responsibilities, and learn on the job.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, curious, and organized. A successful candidate will also have excellent written and verbal
communication skills in English and Croatian and an interest in working in a fast-paced startup environment.

As our Human-resources and operations manager, you will:

  • Support, facilitate, and manage the full-cycle recruiting process by acting as the main point of contact for candidates, coordinating candidate interviews, and conducting new hire onboarding and orientation.

  • Manage our electronic device and equipment inventory

  •  Facilitate our move to a new office location, including space allocation planning, logistics, coordinating deliveries, etc.

  • Streamline office procedures as we scale (e.g., organizing deliveries, placing orders, managing purchase orders, and other day-to-day operations)

  • There will be some accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchase order reconciliation, but we outsource accounting and tax preparation.

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

  • 2-5 years of previous experience with office management, HR, recruiting, or related positions

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to manage competing priorities, and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Apps

  • Is motivated by delivering quality work, has initiative, persistence, curiosity, and good communication skills (ability to communicate in the English language is highly desired)

Preferred Qualities/Nice to Have:

  • Educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

What’s cool about working at Eridan:

  • Flexible hybrid remote work policy, although this is a primarily on-site position

  • Opportunity to work with an international team of engineers and computer scientists on a technologically challenging and unique communications system
