Deputy Director : Business Finance www.myntra.comFunction : Marketing, Monetization and CreativesKey Competencies:, Develop clear understanding of key business drivers, analyse key financial and non,financial metrics, provide value add analysis, for informed decision making to top management, Does rigorous data based analysis for any decision making scenario, bringing out business insights not visible in regular reviews, Seen as strategic thought partner to business on where the business needs to go, why and how will we win, Have a customer first attitude looking at customer retention and repeat rate as the primary metric driving any investment for marketing and customer experience, Understands the next level of details , top macro story for his function , industry trends,customer, brands, competition and is able to leverage that understanding to drive insights ,analysis and connect with bottom up business drivers , data, Ability to guide, influence and partner with finance , business management teams, identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers, Ability to bring in strategic thought process in planning, right trade offs and guidelines established., Ability to deal with ambiguity and respond with right trade offs, Proactive in reviewing financial information, identifying exception , inconsistencies or process gaps, initiate action and follow,up for logical closure, Takes a balanced view of business reality and process controls in every decision framework, With minimal guidance, demonstrates ability to set broader agenda for a large, critical part of the business and takes people through that, Handle complex adhoc request with a short turnaround time and supplement such request with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making, Support finance , business leader in simulation of traffic projections and conversion, working out the right lever to invest on attaining the traffic target, including cost optimisation plans, Develop Budget modelling by establishing KPIs , Run rates, Participate in budget discussion and support scenario building , simulation modelling, Preparation of budget pack , presentation with appropriate budget comments to support budget reviews including submission for divisional , corporate consolidation, Tracking of performance against set targets and provide periodical updates to business, Builds high performing teams and develops , grows people managers, Helps individuals achieve more by constantly raise expectations and providing relevant support, Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to achieve results in a fast pace and rapid growth environment charactirsed by dynamism and ambiguityRoles and responsibilities:, Build a financial plan that aligns business objectives and develops a how list that builds the plan to the targets for the business, Establish ROI on marketing investments, with right assessment of risks and opportunities, Evaluate end to end brand marketing campaign objectives and readiness with right success metrics, Validating agency retainer requirements and contracts (scope of work, payment terms etc) bringing efficiencies in cost with procurement, Evaluate choice of media channels or levers of traffic for each campaign basis cost and impact, Work with stakeholders to build framework for deliverables , success metrics for any consumer research and insights campaign, Co,own monthly planning of traffic and customers basis marketing investments, Managing functional reviews with right callouts to senior management, Participate in revenue and traffic forecast calls and highlight risk ,opportunities with appropriate analysis, Ownership of expenses forecast for the business group by using trend analysis , KPI reviews for better P&L managementQualifications & Experience:, Post,Graduate in Management (MBA) from a tier 1 business school holding specialisation in Marketing and Finance, Work experience of minimum 6 to 9 years in revenue facing or marketing roles, Prior experience in Ecommerce, an added advantage, Finance specialization , Chartered Accountant, CFA or similar degrees an added advantage (not a mandate), Demonstrate strong Communication , Presentation Skills and ability to work with peers and counterparts , multi location setup , good team manager, Expertise in Office Tools MS Excel, Power Point Skills, The candidate should be proactive, self,starter, strong Team Leader , Role would require interaction with Cross functional teams
