Role Purpose: This role is responsible for managing the day,to,day deliverables of the back office and settlement processes. The individual will be accountable for settlements of client trades, client reporting, reconciliation of securities and cash, repairing incorrect procedures. Exhibits business process knowledge and provides solutions for business progress. Adapt and initiates change in the organization. Seeks ways to optimize processes in the organization as a competitive business advantage. Job Description:1. To manage complete back,office operations, including setting up processes and controls for all the market segments in equity, F&O, commodities & currency. 2. To manage the overall functioning of the back office, clearing and settlement of trades. 3. Resolving problems arise from unmatched items and implement long term solutions for frequently occurring issues.4. Review and ensure accuracy of all customer statements, reports and communications.5. To set up processes and review systems for manual processes with a critical focus on process standardization, digitization & automation.6. To implement policies and procedures for trade processing, settlements and reconciliations. 7. To handle all types of Audits and ensure that all regulatory requirements have complied.8. To evaluate new products, solutions & technologies and get them implemented.9. To support the client services team to resolve problems for clients in terms of trade matching and settlement issues.10. Assist in creating proper backups through adequate cross,training within the department.11. Escalate all issues appropriately, in time, to the appropriate level to avoid any adverse impact on the business.12. Establish back office support for third party products like Mutual Funds, Insurance, FD etc.Requirements:1. Post,Graduation preferably in Finance. Candidates with CA,CS, ICWA degrees will get the preference.2. Must have 12+ years of experience in a Stock Broking Firm , Broking house.3. Have a thorough knowledge of compliance regulation for Equity, Commodities, Currency, Depository and other applicable regulatory guidelines.4. Must have necessary NISM Certifications.5. Apt in Problem Solving and Decision Making. Good Team Worker and Collaborative approach.6. Ability to quickly master systems.
