Job Description

About Rocket Lab:

Rocket Las is at the forefront of an exciting new era in space. The rockets and spacecraft we build are enabling scientific discovery, national security, exploration, and new capabilities on orbit. Our pioneering technology is developed by dedicated, curious and ambitious people focused on unlocking the potential of space to improve life on Earth.

Join us on Earth to do big things in space.

About the role:

We’re on the hunt for a talented storyteller to help us share the exciting work at Rocket Lab with our diverse audiences across a range of platforms. And there’s plenty to talk about - we’re developing a next generation reusable rocket to deploy the constellations of the future, developing spacecraft for missions to Mars and Venus, launching more frequently than any other small launch provider, and our spacecraft components are used in hundreds of science, exploration and national security missions. If you are a great storyteller and exceptional writer, have a ruthless eye for detail, can craft a compelling blog post, an unmissable e-newsletter, and develop concepts for engaging video and social content, we want to hear from you.

The Marketing Content Producer is responsible for messaging, positioning and marketing content strategy for launch and space systems products within the Rocket Lab product portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, the Marketing Content Producer leads the creation of content tailored for our target audiences, resonates with customers, investors and internal stakeholders and supports our business development teams.  The ability to distil complicated aerospace and defense capabilities into easily consumed marketing communications and customer benefits is crucial.

The Marketing Content Producer will join the nimble Rocket Lab communications team to lead the creation of content that resonates with customers, investors, our team, and the public.
