Opening for GFS Business Analyst (Manager to Associate Director) Finance and Accounting With A leading Global Financial Services (GFS) Job Responsibilities The role will be responsible to work as Business Analyst for one or more of core finance functions and ensuring the success of the FMG GFS program delivery outcomes as part of the PeopleSoft Replacement Program which includes Project Management Coordination & Requirements Gathering Acquiring an understanding of current state processes and business context Engaging with project managers and business subject matter experts to gather requirements Facilitate the update of GFS owned procedural documentation to align to new processesChange Management & Training Facilitate the change management adoption (assisting with change impact assessments) of new processes and solutions within the GFS Gather data and support readiness assessments of the GFS Finance teamData & Testing Execute and manage reconciliation and cleansing activities in support of data conversion migration Execute testing where required as part of SIT and UAT cycles Support the System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test process, overseeing and assisting the test team through the test cycles and reporting test resultsFinance Systems & Reporting Work closely with the selected technology vendor and system integration partner to learn and own the configuration rules Work closely with the selected technology vendor and system integration partner to learn and own the reporting specification design and buildPeople & Stakeholder Management Provide day to day guidance and direction to achieve the program deliverables Promote excellence through the attraction, continual development & retention of a high quality team with the knowledge and skills to deliver excellent outcomes and service Ensure timely and accurate communication to identified stakeholdersEssential Requirements Proven experience in working with major finance package technology vendors (e.g. Oracle and SAP) Proven experience as a business analyst or junior project manager working on business process change projects and or new platform implementationsThe overall experience of 8+ years with 4 5 years of relevant experience in ledger implementation projects and business process re engineering, preferably in the Financial Services industryNeha
