Role: Revenue ManagerLine of Business: HolidaysLocation: GurgaonRole Overview: This role will be a part of Holidays Revenue Team wherein the incumbent would be required to increase top,line by engaging approaches pertaining to demand management, pricing controls, platform usability and customer segment analysis.Know the Function:MakeMyTrip is amongst the leading organized players in Holidays business, with pan,India presence to serve travel needs for all domestic and global destinations. MMT has pioneered the way holiday packages are booked in flexible and cost,effective ways. Also, we are credited with opening up destinations like Andaman, Maldives, Bhutan and Ladakh in scalable and affordable ways.Key Learnings in this role:, Entrepreneurial mind,set to keep doing new things every time, Working in cross,functional environments including working closely with Product, Tech, Supply, Marketing, Finance, post,sales etc. , Develop expansive sales insights working with B2C, inside,sales and retail channels , Complex problem solving skills using out of the box ideasSkills you will bring to the table:1. P&L Management and Driving Growth:, Define & drive the short term and long,term growth agenda of the business while influencing various cross functional teams, Business forecasting and driving channel,specific deliverables to achieve overall P&L goals, Tactically manage active revenue levers to achieve the daily margin, conversion and transaction goals, Tracking performance parameters and keep a tight control on business KPI numbers , Deep dive onto demand signals , traffic data to decipher business and marketing strategy , Follow a stringent action plan and collaborate with the product team to increase platform conversion , Work with product & technology teams to automate , improve pricing, business reporting and alerting mechanisms, Collaborate with operations team to devise and ensure smooth post,sale processes, Owning monthly & quarterly financial closures and reconciliations , Drive revenue delivery and loss prevention, working with operations, risk and finance functions2. Data Analysis and Reporting: , Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources , Proactively analyse data using statistical methods to answer key problem statements, Self,initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity Tools that will be used:, Google Analytics, Omniture, SQL , HiveRelevant Experience: , Prior experience of working in an online business,platform ecosystem , Strong analytics background; exposure to analytics tools will be ad added advantage Personality: , Good understanding of the product category, market, and growth opportunities in order to implement strategic and targeted action plans to achieve goals, Strong communication skills, Influencing skills, great interpersonal & stakeholder management skills, High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude , Love for travel!
