About You

We’re looking for a talented Product leader who is passionate about exceptional customer experiences, and knows how to lead, coach and scale teams to make them happen. You’ll play a significant part in our continued success as we shape the future of our global financial platform for small & medium-sized businesses. 

As Lead Product Manager in Tide’s member engagement team you will influence and shape how our members interact with their admin and finances on a daily basis, helping them to grow their business and giving them time back to do what they love.

As a champion and advocate of design thinking and agile development you’ll be able to bring the product vision to life whilst working alongside engineers, data scientists, designers, and marketers to research, build, and deliver a world class financial platform experience.

You’ll have a deep understanding of customers and the ability to conceptualise new solutions based on primary customer needs, ideally in an SME context. You will be able to build a case for commercial viability and subsequently drive ongoing product development whilst playing a meaningful role in Tide’s Product Community of Practice

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Defining the vision and product roadmap that drives the necessary improvements to our in app experience across product discovery, engagement and in-app content .

  • Leading and coaching the app experience team, responsible for creating a world class user experience that meets the needs of our members in a way that works for the business.

  • Own and drive our in-app product growth and conversion rate optimisation strategy, delivering ongoing direct and indirect revenue growth through continuous discovery and delivery. 

  • Lead full stack development teams (iOS, Android, Web, Back-end) to deliver new and existing roadmap items in an agile, data-driven way.

  • Assessing opportunities, understanding behaviour, and testing hypotheses with data analysis to continuously improve the app experience.

  • Lead by example: you will be hands on, take ownership for business metrics and product KPIs and play a pivotal role in bringing all stakeholders onboard.

  • Playing a meaningful role in Tide’s Product Community of Practice.

You’ll be a great fit if: 

  • You’ve shipped market-leading products in a fast-growing product-focused company before as a Senior Product Manager, Head of Product, Group Product Manager.

  • You’re a product evangelist, obsessed with the end-user, well-versed in best product research and development practices and are willing to share your knowledge and expertise with other Product Managers.

  • You have experience in applying design thinking techniques to test and build exceptional experiences.

  • You have led and delivered initiatives that have resulted in measurable increases in conversatio rate, product adoption, product usage and/or revenue growth.

  • You’re organised and pragmatic, capable of leading a technical interdisciplinary team;

  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch.

  • You have practical agile product development experience and can take an idea from inception to launch using agile working practices.

  • You have experience with data-driven segmentation, targeting a/b testing and BI tools.
