Job Description

Contract Management:, Vetting and drafting of various kinds of agreements viz. Lease agreement, Leave and License Agreement, Franchisee agreement, agreements related to Human resources, training, product partners and others, Contract Management (proper documentation and up keeping of all agreements, contracts and their renewals on time), Document relationships with external parties through contracts, T&Cs and advise business from time to time.Advisory:, Disciplinary process for errant franchisees,follow up process,terminations, Catastrophic Customer complaint management, Ensuring Due diligence of properties to support the business expansion plan, Partnering for talent recruitment, retention and people issues, To advocate and make representations for laws and regulations supporting the growth of the business and industry.Compliance:, To advise the business and implement changes in legislations., Ensuring all compliances (Labor, Municipal, IPR, etc) as applicable to FOFO and COCO salons, Owning the compliance management system Franchise Management portal and beyondDispute , Litigation Management:, Advising and managing disputes to minimize company exposure and risks, Sending various kinds of notices, business letters and communications viz., Prosecuting and defending litigations and coordinating with external lawyers, Conducting raids and following civil and criminal action against IPR infringersBusiness Integrity:, Drafting, implementation & trainings for SOPs and policies within the company POSH, Supporting investigations into complaints relating to POSHPrimary Responsibilities, Legal business partner for, Operations (North & East) ,, Business Development (North & East),, HR, Training, Category functions, Dermalogica brand, Advisory and execution of company processes, legislations and regulations that apply to businessKey Result Area, Protect, preserve company assets and reputation., To partner the BD and Operations functions effectively to ensure basic functions of these departments are completed in compliance with set internal processes , legal norms so as to minimise the risks faced by business., To steer disputes and litigations relating to assigned areas to the company's benefit and interest., To advise business for new product , service developments.
