Junior mechanic wanted for the Lafarge Hamilton maintenance garage to assist mechanic.



  • Assisting mechanic in daily work. 

  • Greasing trucks, picking up and dropping off of parts, tire work, shop clean up.


Relationship with Others

  • Operational Management (e.g. Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, Area Manager)


Specific Accountabilities:

  • Be available Monday to Friday (8 hour shifts) no set hours, occasional Saturday work.


  • Reports directly to mechanic.



  • Must have a minimum of a valid G2 Driver’s License with a clean abstract. 

  • Must be mechanically inclined and have some exposure to vehicle maintenance and willing to learn. 

  • Be willing to work at other locations (transportation provided) upon occasion. 

  • Must have 8 inch steel toe green patch laced work boots in good condition. 

  • All other PPE will be supplied.
