Metrics Analyst : Global Technology Risk & Control Position Summary Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) is a central part of the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls (CTC) department, with primary responsibility to provide robust metrics, data,driven insights, and effective technologies for risk management. We aim to effectively identify, monitor, evaluate, and manage the firm's Technology and Cyber risks , also including operational losses, material risk, regulatory changes, etc. in support of the firm's strategic plan. The GT Risk & Control Operate team within GRC is part of the GRC Control Room that is responsible to drive usage and alignment of GT Risk Management against Firmwide Risk Management practices, ensuring technology risk in JPMC is appropriately managed and leveraged for risk decision making. The team works closely with GT and business teams in maintaining of GT's operational risk data, including the end,to,end management of data quality, change management, and risk status. Responsibilities of the Role We are looking for an experienced risk professional to support the services capability within the Control Room GT Metrics program, a key Change program in 2021 that will drive improvements in GT Risk metrics management, setup and streamlining of operational procedures, and operationalizing the process for risk metrics owners across Global Technology (GT). The individual will also need to assist GT Metrics Leadership by providing relevant inputs that helps to collaborate with senior technology risk management, control design authorities and product partners, as well as non,tech partners (such as Firmwide Risk Management partners, 2LOD, Audit, etc.) in implementing data driven approach to risk management for technology. Work Experience: , 07+ years of experience at a large multinational company Hard Skills , Requirements: , Technology Risk and Control Expertise , Deep understanding of process controls, risks, issues and breaks management process including metrics development lifecycle. , Ability to understand metrics definition, scope of the metric, what data needs to be collected and how it can be collected to effectively manage risk to the firm. , Ability to understand and correlate metrics data from various sources , analyze and effectively use it to identify parameters that work together to create metrics reports , Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements to deliver increasing operational efficiency in the metrics reporting processes. , Experience in metrics reporting that represents technology risk, breaches and remediation summary to Senior Technology Executives. , Familiar with cybersecurity principles ( defense in depth, least privilege, preventive vs reactive controls) and a bility to understand in depth how CTC products are delivered (e.g. Identity & Access Mgt, Vulnerability Management, Data Encryption, Security Incident Event Mgt., etc) , Information System Design , Experience in supporting information systems using data driven approaches. , Familiar with technical solutions used to represent the data appropriately to meet the client requirement , Familiar with enterprise scale risk management platforms and its implementation. , Data Quality Experience , Understanding the core concepts of data quality , how to measure and improve , Ability to analyze data for data quality gaps , Understanding what data quality issues pose the greatest risks to the firm's operations and raising those to governance effectively Soft Skills,attributes required for this Role: , Excellent organizational skills with experience in working in matrix team within a Global Organization , Strong communication skills , ability to provide clarity and focus to projects while working with both engineering groups as well as senior stakeholders , Strong presentation skills , ability to create professional presentations and present clear stories to large audiences , Self,motivated , desire to take on increasing responsibility over time , Autonomous , ability to understand their role in depth and make decisions independently , Strong negotiation and influencing skills in driving a win,win solution with partners JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
