Human Resources Director

Our Client  Our client is an industry-leading, Enterprise HR SaaS organization located in Montreal that is partnered up with several Fortune 500 companies. With offices globally, they are going through extraordinary growth and as such are looking to bring in a proven HR Director to assist them in scaling the HR department.   

The Opportunity 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Director to come in, and truly put their stamp on the entire HR department for a successful tech company! With the huge growth projections in place, our client needs an HR Director with a progressive and strategic mindset who will partner with senior management as well as all levels of the company to help build and scale the organization. The company is making an investment in growing and engaging the team and looking for everyone to work together!

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will work internationally across all offices. Responsibilities will include everything from 1) creating an employee experience strategy to continue building engagement; 2) empowering and supporting managers in their recruiting efforts, improving their interview techniques, & setting up quarterly employee reviews; 3) managing the HR tech stack, as well as 4) mentoring a small international HR team that will grow with the company.

Roles/Responsibilities

-Be the architect of the entire HR department and solidify the organization’s HR foundation by empowering managers, having a listening strategy and driving employee engagement

-Partner with and support Executives and all levels of management on recruitment, people management and interpersonal conflict resolution

-Increase employee engagement and as a result, increase output by motivating and supporting the workforce

-Create a collaborative environment where everyone wants to be in the office together - for work, fun and productivity

Education/Experience

-7+ years of HR experience with

-4+ of direct management experience

-Blend of Organizational Development / Employee Experience / Culture & People background / Talent management

-Experience with and understanding of Tech/SaaS companies

-International office experience, and have been through exponential growth as a company

-Influence drive, having to care for people more than the process

-Extremely willing to align and disagree, must put proper practice and procedure into place

-Bilingual English/French is a bonus!

-Comfortable with an in-office environment

-A strategic thinker with strong attention to detail

-Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; candid and direct!

-Curious and innovative with a propensity for seeking out creative solutions
