About the Role


You will be the first Product Management role hired by the company and will have a major impact on the company's product and success. As Product Manager, you'll be responsible for product planning, execution, and success through the product lifecycle, working closely with the company founder. This can include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer delivery to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product aligns with the company’s overall strategy and goals.


What you'll do?


  • Work with the engineering, design, data science, and sales teams to set strategy, define the feature, and make critical decisions between performance, features, and speed-to-market.
  • Vigorously prioritize conflicting opinions and goals based upon business needs and communicate effectively with stakeholders to build alignment
  • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for platform experiences for all of Wallaroo’s features and services.
  • Take a feature from ideation/exploration with customers to full launch and rollout, including marketing plans and field enablement.
  • Lead the entire product cycle: Gather customer requirements, design features, define MVP, and collaborate with engineering to deliver a solid product to customers. Then iterate to add/improve based on customer feedback.
  • Drive launches with product marketing through blog posts, release notes, webinars, sales enablement content.
  • Define and measure metrics and success criteria for your products
  • Drive the prioritization and delivery of key features - manage backlogs, roadmap and delivery timelines.
  • You do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful whether that means writing a QA plan or hunting down the root cause of a user’s frustration

What we are looking for:


  • Three to five years of experience in a Product Management role with a strong track record
  • Three years of experience with AI/ML, data, analytics, or cloud products
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle, frameworks, and best practices, as well as data and cloud platforms.
  • Comfortable engaging with large enterprise customers including CIOs, CDOs, Chief Data Scientists, as well as ML engineers
  • Analytical skills, and singular attention to detail
  • Sense of ownership in the success of the product
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with complex topics to diverse audiences
  • A desire to help and share knowledge with other team members
