Job Description

Hiring "Head Legal" for one of our esteemed Apparel Retail MNC client.

This person will going to Head India Legal Operations along with the team of 2 team members.

Please find below mentioned Job Responsibilities

Commercial legal negotiations with suppliers manufacturers and drafting the legal documents. Drafting Collaboration Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Dealership Agreements, Installation Agreements, property acquisition, leases, sale and purchase, property due diligence, Consultant Agreements, Employment Agreements and Non Disclosure Agreements, Trade Marks and Patents, Legal Opinions to the Directors and conducting litigations in most states in India.

Handling non litigation assignments such as finalization of LOI, MOU, Lease Deed, Leave & License Agreements, Commercial Agreements, HR Related Agreements, Service Agreements, PR Agency Agreements, Power of Attorney, Authorization, Sending Notices, Replying various legal notices, Due Diligence of properties, Major role in expansion plan of stores, Applying Weights and Measurement Rules, Labour Compliances.

Registration of Lease of property in various states, Renewal of Lease L&L Agreements.

Negotiation with malls, landlords, legal counsels for execution of contracts, ensuring compliance of provisions of Legal Metrology Act and Rules made there under.

Ensuring protection of Intellectual Property Rights

Preparing Standard Operating Procedures for new and existing projects.

Responsible for entire range of compliances of corporate office, and all stores across India.
