Position Overview:A large Ahmedabad,based textile company is looking for Head of Human Resources to set up their Human Resources department. This position will require the candidate to be based in Ahmedabad full,time and responsible in building the department, setting up processes and policies. The role reports to the Board of Directors of the company.Principal Accountabilities:, Responsible for creating Company's Values and Culture by ensuring that they are embedded in various people processes in a measurable manner., Develop contemporary 3P's , HR Processes, Policies, and Procedures and be the custodian of employee development., Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues. Contribute information, analysis, and recommendations to the organization's strategic thinking and direction., Establish human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives., Ensure all legal and statutory compliance is followed as per the law., Oversee talent acquisition, recruiting activities and ensuring that all open positions (blue collar,White collar) are filled in a timely manner., Manage overall HR operations with the help of HR team, assess team performance and mentor them to be successful.Required Qualifications & Skills:, Bachalor's ,Master's Degree in Business Management from reputed institute, Min. 18,24 years of experience in Human Resource Management with Textile company or in a Manufacturing setup., Thorough knowledge setting up HR processes, Policies and procedures., Excellent understanding of Labour Laws, Factories Act and other related acts, Strong experience with legal and statutory compliances, HR audit, Process Audit etc., Should be highly process, system oriented individual with a strategic mind,set., Should have managed HR teams of up to 5,15 people., Should have high level of initiative; ability to empathize will be a key consideration., Ability to translate the CEO's imperatives into actionable items and ensure execution. Ability to work independently and navigate paradoxes is essential.., Excellent verbal and written communication skills., Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
