Job Description

Responsible for aligning the Business and IT team and translating the needs of the business into an IT work plan and monitoring strategic projects and initiatives at the business level.Adopt Enterprise Architecture policies for the BU in alignment with group guidelines and drive continuous compliance to those policies, while ensuring EA policy relevance for the BU.Roles and Responsibilities :Strategic Roles and ResponsibilitiesOverall IT Strategy :, Collaborate with Business IT head and assist in articulating the strategic objectives, defining future roadmap and goals for the IT function keeping in mind the future requirements of the business., Drive strategic IT projects and initiatives while ensuring alignment with IT strategy and long term needs of the business in concurrence with the business CIO; Monitor budgeting for initiatives and projects and maintain IT capital and operating budgets.Research and Innovation :, Drive improvement of existing technology within the business by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives and sponsoring ongoing research., Continually scan the changing technological landscape, study best practices and introduce new and innovative solutions at the business level., Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team at the group level, to leverage if any new technologies can be implemented at the business level, Attend events and join in forums to interact with different technology solution providers and evaluate if new solutions can be introduced keeping in mind the business ecosystem.Enterprise Architecture :, Adopt and implement the group IT enterprise architecture (EA) framework and policies at the BU level and ensure compliance., Establish the BU,level IT architecture model in close consultation with the group level EA experts., Ensure that the EA operating model is consistent with shifts in the business framework and pertinent to the overarching Business IT strategy; Share and discuss any deviations with the group EA experts, Ensure governance of IT architecture; Ensure adherence to established the rules, regulations, policies, and standards that govern the individual components of the IT architecture for the business, in consultation with group EA team.Solutions Engagement :Understanding Business Requirements, Collaborate with the key business stakeholders in order to understand business requirements and translate them in to IT technical requirements., Conduct a gap analysis of IT processes and operations across the business and work together with the business to identify ways to overcome them., Share and discuss the requirements with the BU team, group team to evaluate, select and prioritize IT initiatives and ensure integration, alignment with IT goal plan.IT Solution Design :, Collaborate with business, relevant IT COEs to prepare business case for the project with tangible ROIs and obtain project clearance, Identify prospective solutions and invite partner for solution offerings; Evaluate partner offerings and conduct a fitment analysis basis business requirements and IT ecosystem., Draft the solution design and solution architecture diagram and present it to the requisite committees; Detail and customize the solution to fulfil the requirements of the business, Partner with the key business and IT stakeholders in order to review and finalize the solution design.Solutions Delivery :, Monitor project management life cycle for critical IT projects and act as a SME from a solution, delivery and customer satisfaction standpoint whilst ensuring alignment with Business requirements and Solution architect design through critical milestone reviews., Guide the program management team, providing oversight and support to mitigate risks while working collaboratively to problem solve risks detected., Act as an escalation point of contact for, providing solution design expertise to project teams while fostering close bonds with business partners., Ensure adoption of IT services and solution by customers, confirming that customers' expectations are met; Diagnose and address causes for failures if any., Provide project transparency and reporting to the Business CIO and top management, keeping them informed of project progress and anticipated risks.Partner Management: , Collaborate in partner identification, evaluation and contracting processes for IT development projects and services at the business level, Drive functional evaluation of partner proposals and participate in the shortlisting and finalization processes based on evaluations., Track partner performance for critical projects , IT services that impact IT architecture and business operations; Ensure project & services delivery is aligned with quality expectations, timelines and budgetary considerations; Address instances of non,performances and partner escalations, Cultivate meaningful relationships with partners and leverage them for value additions to business.Customer Engagement & Feedback :, Continuously interface and engage with business stakeholders to build relationships, ensure stakeholder alignment and fulfilment of business expectations from the BU projects., Develop and implement tools to track stakeholder satisfaction and gather stakeholder feedback; Ensure incorporation of stakeholder feedback in future IT initiatives.People Management :, Develop employee capability and build functional excellence through various learning and development interventions and mentoring initiatives., Drive a performance driven culture , Set goals, review performance and provide feedback so as to ensure a motivated and committed team., Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within the team and across teams Internal External, Establish strong connect with the business to gather detailed understanding of business requirements and facilitate open exchange of information through the course of project., Network with a variety of technology partners and build strategic relationship with them with the objective of leveraging them for business advancement in the future., Collaborate with managers of different project and provide insights regarding the viability of Solutions., Participate at different forums, attend conferences to explore new technological trends and to broaden technology knowledge base, Collaborate with the COEs at the group level evaluate new solutions, technology and partners for different projects, Interact with existing partners and vendor to reinforce working relationship, strengthen collaboration, track project deliveries and mitigate risks if any, Work in partnership with different SMEs and develop a mutually beneficial relationship to add value to projects at a business and group level., Liaison with new IT Start,ups and evaluate their solutions and technology with the objective of introducing them into the system., Support Site Heads and IT managers to provide insights from the solution delivery standpointJob Requirements :Educational Qualification:, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, Preferable to have Maters degree in IT disciples and Certifications in Project ManagementExperiences:, Must have experience of 5+ years of Solution Delivery and architect design role for a similar or mid,sized organization; Preferable to have worked in Similar industry with an overall experience of 10+ years., Strong project,program management skills (agile & waterfall), leadership attributes, and strategic thinking. Must have led and delivered large scale IT transformation projects, Expertise in design and management of Service,Oriented Architecture, Web Services, Database technologies, Integration strategies and enterprise best practices, Experience with providing technology direction and architectural guidance for enterprise,wide solutions. Technical management for a large,mid,sized organization with overseas operations, Hands,on IT technical depth enables direct oversight, problem,solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting, A proven ability to effectively manage multiple teams and projects specifically software development projects with BUs, Sound exposure IT security management practices, Experience of handling teams with strong interpersonal skills
