Job Description

Panum Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Grants Specialist to join an existing contract with USDA - FPAC. The selected individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating actions and documents related to grants, cooperative agreements, inter-agency agreements, and other non-assistance agreements (contribution agreements) between FPAC and a variety of Federal, State and local governments, non-profit entities, and institutes of higher learning (colleges and universities). Prepares new agreement award packages according to FPAC-BC Agreement guidance. Monitors all phases of award through close-out, including assessment of technical progress and performance, reviewing payment requests. Close-out actions include preparing close-out documents, ensuring all applicable administrative actions and all required work has been completed by internal program manager and the recipient; ensure that all required performance reports, financial status reports (SF-425)and other reports are received in accordance with the terms of the grant or agreement. The file should contain copies of any quarterly, semiannual, annual, and final reports. Files are maintained electronically, and data entry is performed on the GAD tracker system. Determine if agreement funds should be de-obligated and, if so, take appropriate action as outlined in FPAC-BC policy. Reference other operational activities for grants and agreements listed in USDA ARS BPA. Work is mostly related to conservation and related activities of FPAC.
