About Glowroad: GlowRoad is building India's most profitable social e,commerce platform where resellers share the catalog of products through their network on Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, etc GlowRoad is on a mission to create micro,entrepreneurs (resellers) who can set up their web,store, market their products and track all transactions through its platform. GlowRoad app has ~30M+ downloads and 15+ lakhs DAUs.. We have also been placed at Number #38 in the Top 100 startups in India in January 2021. GlowRoad has been funded by Accel Partners and recently raised series B+ funding for a total of 24.5 million USD. Our total funding amounts to almost 31.5 million USD. We are scaling our operations across India. GlowRoad is looking for team members passionate about building platforms for next billion users and reimagine the e,commerce for mobile,first users Roles & Responsibilities: , Growth: Drive GMV and NMV growth across categories in line with the business strategy, keeping in mind the quality of the network both on the reseller and seller sides. The category head's responsibility is to have a user bias and should strive to improve the overall interaction experience of all external stakeholders (resellers and suppliers). P&L: While chasing growth, keep a watch on the P&L. Plan the category commission structures and sale discounts in such a manner so as to maintain the contribution margins as per the overall business strategy. Bias for action: Own the processes and ensure all teams are aligned and adhering to the set SOPs. Align various teams to ensure timely closure of all actionable while ensuring operational hygiene. It requires end to end ownership of the allocated responsibility. Data Driven: Demonstrated experience in handling large complex sets of data, analyse it and identify trends, derive actionable and optimize process flows and SOPs to create impact. Assortment Planning: Understanding and predicting the seasonal demand and ensuring the availability of the products across all seasons. This will require an understanding of the geographical, seasonal and various other factors that influence demand and ensuring that the right assortment of products is available. Will also be the owner of post,sale metrics , Supplier cancellations, returns (especially due to quality). Product: Make suggestions to improve conversions on the app or to build tools that improve productivity in the team. Be the POC for product, tech teams to get these implemented. Ensure the team members are aware of (trained) and aligned to the various app flows and internal tools. Marketing Campaigns: Planning and creation of marketing (sales) calendar, aligning internal, external teams on the campaign execution. Monitoring the campaign and reporting against key metrics and ensuring loop closure on all construct requirements. , Partner Management: Ensuring strong relationships with key accounts across the organizations, resellers and sellers network. Requirements: , Proven working experience of 5+ years in Category Management , Experience in Lifestyle category (especially women ethnic wear) would be preferred , Drive for result, able to demonstrate,quantify success relative to established targets and metrics , Strong bias for action, problem,solving and ownership , Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and be a team player , Exposure to the start,up environment is an added advantage
