Our Team
Whatfix Field and Growth Marketing team develops strategies to execute field and online events, including virtual summits, webinars, third-party trade shows, podcasts, interviews, executive roundtables, and Whatfix hosted customer/partner events. 
We have done over 200 events globally (virtual and physical) over the last two years, and are an aggressive, enthusiastic bunch of marketers, who believe truly in ownership, and have experience dabbling in various aspects of marketing.
Our goal is to increase our brand footprint globally, drive demand generation, and enable sales and marketing teams to meet or exceed their revenue targets by various activities done across the sales funnel.
About the RoleThis role is largely focussed on handling our global virtual events across industries and segments. You will be primarily collaborating with the Events team, creating strategies on how to scale our events across specific business verticals, and executing the events end-to-end. You will be working with your counterparts to handle field events conducted across various capacities across the states and also the growth team who runs various campaigns and experiments on demand generation. If you are a motivated, self-starter who is creative, pragmatic and passionate about marketing, and believes in ownership of their work, then you will fit amazingly well with the team.
What will you get to do?
1. Event Marketing strategy: 

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop event strategies for online  marketing events (webinars, third-party virtual conferences, round-table, lunch & learns, Whatfix hosted-events, etc.).
Get input from product business owners and align with overall Whatfix GTM sales initiatives, strategy, and branding.

2. Event Operations:

Operational excellence and experience with conducting virtual events, logistics management, virtual event tools, various event formats, managing speakers, project plans, engagement activities, and analytics
You are expected to deliver end-to-end project management and seamless event operations including contract negotiation, manage vendor/partner relationships, development/management of all project plans and timelines, all with the goal of demand gen, lead capture, and sales targets/revenue in mind.
You will be responsible for identifying relevant events to sponsor, managing budgets, internal/external stakeholders, coordination with email marketing, ads, and creative design team, engagement activities for the event, swag management, and other event logistics.

3. Campaign management & demand generation: 

Execute event programs that generate new leads, create new sales/expansion opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and deepen our relationships with our prospects and customers.
Collaborate with the Business Development Representatives (BDRs) on identifying sources for quality leads, and converting them into sales opportunities.
Collaborate with the Marketing Automation team to assess the various leads, segregating them according to their engagement, to run nurture campaigns.
Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team members for integrated marketing campaigns which includes emails, ads via various channels, design, video marketing, direct mail, analyst relations, content specific to the campaign, etc.  

4. ROI measurement: 

Create a measurement criteria and manage a feedback loop with cross-functional teams to continually measure program effectiveness.
Define and refine event metrics as part of overall GTM sales initiatives and marketing objectives.

5. Product expertise and evangelism: 

As the driver of events, product expertise and/or technically thinking/speaking abilities are required to engage with customers and prospects at a high-level to help generate demand and drive traffic to the booth or website for the programs assigned.

Apply, if you are confident that you meet the following requirements:

3-5 years of field/event marketing, management, operations, and demand generation experience (preferably in High tech and/or SaaS) managing various-sized programs and budgets
3-5 years working with cross-functional teams or stakeholders
Experience in Virtual Events (Field Events is a bonus), especially across 2020-2021 (at least conducted 10 events), and has a story to tell on how you pivoted to suit the marketing situation due to the pandemic
Extensive Project and Campaign management expertise
Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external partners and display excellent communication skills with all stakeholders
Exposure to North American/UK/EU SaaS ecosystem and B2B marketing in mature Enterprise application markets 


Event strategy experience from program goals to show management
A strong handle on working with budgets, event contracts, expenses & accounts payable
Ability to multitask, delegate work across virtual teams, and take the lead on several events simultaneously
Experience from both corporate and event agency (especially with event management andexecution)
CRM-Salesforce, Marketing Automation (Pardot, Marketo), Adobe, Microsoft Office/Mac/Google Skills and generally strong presentation skills (including strong written and verbal communication skills)
