Title: Electrical Engineer 2
Location: Alpharetta, GA (20% of telework permitted)
Employer: Fluence Energy, LLC
Responsible for analyzing the energy storage systems and validating designs; Actively running design simulations in ETAP; Generating study reports based on analysis as contractual deliverables to the customer; Manage supplier equipment to ensure design and performance compliance; Co-ordinate and validate equipment specifications with engineering and sales teams; Managing the effort for project compliance with standards for interconnection requirements; Supporting commissioning efforts for design modifications and personnel safety on site
Job requires a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Systems Engineering, or related and 1 year of experience in Electrical Engineering Solutions
Job requires one year of experience in each of the following:
- Design Engineering for Medium Voltage Switchgear;
- Designing software EBASE (Engineering Base) for detailed schematics;
- Equipment/System compliance with UL standards; and
- Supporting Factory Acceptance Tests for equipment before installation.
Job also requires experience in each of the following:
- AC Arc Flash Analysis for a substation and detailed reports for the same;
- DC Arc Flash Analysis and detailed reports for the same; and
- Simulation software ETAP for detailed load flow and arc flash analysis..
20% travel required
