Job Description

State Sales Head , Gujarat, An experienced leader and high,energy professional whose primary role is to accelerate the growth of sales and increase the wallet share in the assigned region., The individual will have primary day,to,day responsibility for increasing coverage in his,her region by working building a network of partners for distribution of FMCG products and commodity in semi urban and rural areas while collaborating with senior team to set revenue goals and company strategy and implementing a sales plan to drive revenue growth and attending key events to generate leads., The individual is expected to lead and manage a large distributed team which would be responsible for building a distribution network for supply FMCG goods and commodities to retailers in semi urban and rural space and define and execute appropriate sales strategies; business development, marketing, technical, ad operations and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability., Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid,management level and build a network of suppliers across FMCG products & Commodities to retail stores in his,her state in both rural and semi urban areas., Understand the competitive landscape and market trends and then develop long,term contract with distributors, and enhance the relationship continuously while directly responsible for achieving the revenue targets for the territory, Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation, Win,Loss, Age, Perform all necessary duties to support business goals related supplier quality, total cost, and inventory objectives, Maintain a solid working knowledge of essential trends including: industry trends, cost drivers, global pricing, material lead times, and technical,manufacturing processes.Qualifications :, Post graduate in Management with 15+ years of professional experience, Experience working with sales organization of FMCG,Telecom companies in is preferredSkill set :, Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C,level, Should have the experience of increasing pan coverage and sales, Aptitude to work in a fast,paced organization with analytical mind set, number driven, negotiation, facilitation, and reasoning skills., Proven leadership capability to build, lead, manage and groom teams, The individual must have hands,on approach, ready to get hands dirty whenever needed, Strong understanding of Gujarat rural market is mandatory for this role.Experience: 15 to 22 years
