Position Group Business Intelligence Lead (SME)

Location Bangkok (with a brief induction in Bangalore)

Job Summary

To manage, monitor and take accountability for the BI platform implementation work and strengthening of the reporting capabilities of CAA's Operating Companies (currently in Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and India).

Broad Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities in order of priority

Design & implement Data Warehousing & BI solutions including the on going project management and monitoring of strategic BI platform implementation projects of CAA's Operating Companies to ensure projects get delivered on time, within budget and meet expected quality.

Provide technical inputs to local IT teams to develop and or strengthen existing BI platform and reporting (e.g., set up processes to measure and improve data quality, develop visualizations).

To ensure coordination and clear communication between business managers and IT staff in order to develop structure reporting in collaboration with IT staff, but as requested by the managers for their operational activities control

Create and manage Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for in depth analysis, timely quality decision making.

Bring about group level synergy by observing the opportunities to create and nurture group level business intelligence and data analytics against credit risks.

Consult and support business leadership from individual operating companies in carrying out analytics and decision making through data mining etc.

Examples for the same include but not limited to

Analyzing data information and propose improvements in product business processes of the Op. Companies.

Analyzing in depth clients behaviour and other clients' features to improve business products in the Op. Companies

Support OST in "Risk and Audit" in advanced analysis of data (e.g., Credit)

Regular travel to CAA's Operating Companies (India, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam) as needed

Requirements

Minimum university graduate from any engineering or science discipline.

Master's degree in engineering or MBA in Systems would be an added advantage.

At least five (5) years working experience in business intelligence solutions focusing on platform implementation and reporting either within a finance company bank or as a consultant in the banking micro finance industry.

Prior architectural knowledge of and implementation of an enterprise Data warehouse and ETL tools is a must.

Work experience in a IT consulting services unit of a company such as Accenture, Infosys or with banks financial firms where a BI solution was being implemented (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview, SAP BI etc.) would be a strong added advantage.

Prior experience in micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) lending, either within a finance company bank or as a consultant would be an added advantage.

Knowledge of data mining tools and predictive analytics (such as IBM SPSS) would be an advantage.

Experience in other South East or South Asian countries would be an added advantage.

Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills.

Fluency in English.

Compensation Higher than industry standard remuneration commensurate to qualification and experience along with benefits such as housing, expat allowances etc.
