Contracts Specialist I (MLB)

POSITION SUMMARY

Under supervision, create and negotiate of aircraft sales documents, interacting with prospective customers and the sales team word wide. Work closely with the sales team to capture all pertinent information discussed with the customer in order to provide alternatives, while complying with all internal and external procedures and regulations. Assist management and the team with reports, controls and visibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

Participate in sales proposal activity, assist with drafting and negotiation of proposals, purchase agreements, letters of agreement, trade-in agreements and related contractual documents.Support the team and management with evaluation of the most cost-effective and efficient approach to fulfilling sales/customer requests.Ensure agreements are drafted in compliance with internal and external milestones/restrictions, including but not limited to configuration deadlines, deposit & delivery schedules, trade-ins and post-delivery commitments. Support management and the team on its interaction with customers during the contract negotiation process, providing coordination with other Embraer departments, including but not limited to legal, compliance, finance, program management, engineering. Use and continuously update the CLM/SalesForce database for document creation and account management.Use and continuously update all internal control systems such as SAP and documents database.Conduct due diligence for customers, helping to identify risk factors within Embraer’s “Know Your Customer” process.Expand learning and skill base to a wide variety of job skills and personal competencies, including those necessary for succeeding in a team-based environment.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education:

BA/BS in Business Administration/Management, Legal studies or Aviation preferred.

Experience:

Generally 2-4 years of experience in this specialized functional discipline including contracts, supply chain, customer-facing or general aviation-related role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Comprehension and understanding of broad practices associated within the field assigned. Applies these understandings in the completion of moderately complex work assignments.MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access), Internet Explorer, Microsoft Teams, SAP and SalesForce.com experience is desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Interpersonal skills: relates well to all kinds of people, builds effective relationships, uses diplomacy and tact.Organized, prepared, yet flexible.Fluency on a second language is a plus.Professional appearance and demeanor required.

Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements

Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts, if required.Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
